Ever heard of Keenan Cahill? No? Well, until tonight I hadn’t heard of him either. I saw one of his youtube videos on TV and decided to take a closer look at his youtube profile. Over the last couple of years he’s racked up quite the celebrity resume.

He’s done remix videos with the likes of 50 Cent, Nick Cannon, Katy Perry and he’s teamed up with Jennifer Aniston in a TV commercial. Some of his videos have struck 30 million+ viewers – that’s insane!Here is some info about Keenan Cahill taken from his website.

Keenan Cahill was born in 1995 in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. He was born to two parents who would later separate. Keenan was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease at the age of one called MPS Type 6. Keenan underwent a bone marrow transplant in 1997 to slow down the progression of the disease, which required Keenan to live in a isolation for almost one year to prevent infection. Keenan has since had multiple surgeries including a surgery to relieve pressure on his brain. Keenan has overcome all of these obstacles to finally achieve two successes. Keenan has entered High School and is currently a freshman, second Keenan has achieved International fame with his YouTube Channel.

I am really excited about this new project that we’re working on. I don’t want to say too much, but I know you will love it once it goes “live”. Before the design process gets started, I need to figure out the website architecture and what solution to use. That’s where you all come in ;)

We’re looking for advice and suggestions in terms of the sites architecture and the backend setup. Basically what we’re looking at is a multi site network with many domains linked together. Each domain will have it’s own theme/layout but all articles and content should be able easy accessible from other sites/domains.

We need a solid (open source or commerical) CMS that runs all sites from the same backend configuration and all the content should be stored in the same database. We need to figure out what CMS we should use, what database setup and what kind of hosting we need.

If anyone has any valuable information or great ideas, please let me know. We’re currently looking at commercial and open source solutions so all suggestions are welcome.

I’ve always had a big fascination for gadgets. Lets face it though, most of the gadgets are a complete waste of space. Their sole purpose is to impress your friends or family, they don’t give you any new or barrier breaking functionality.
